chimera+ fan adapter 30mm -> 40mm with part cooling 5015

<p>I am designing a chimera+ mount for my creality cr-10. With this part you can replace the 30mm stock fan with a 40mm one. I will publish another design for a chimera+ mount.</p> <p>I printed this thing with 20% infill and with support only touching buildplate. Printed out fine and works like a charm.</p> <p>Furthermore I wanted to mount a part cooling fan from the front (in combination with my other designs the part cooling is done from the back and the front).</p> <p>My attempt is to design a mount which does not reduce the print volume (and prints with minimal support with my old, one extruder only, setup). Probably 1-2cm z-hight is lost, but at least x and y should be presumed, for BOTH nozzles.</p> <p>Furthermore the leveling screws at the side of the heatsink must not to be blocked.</p> <p>I want to use a 5015 blower, as they have higher air pressure than fans.</p> <p>The design consists of two parts wich can be screwed together with two standard M3 screws. The advantage of that is, that it is easy to swap (and remix) the part cooling duct.</p> <p>Let me know what you think!</p> Category: 3D Printer Parts
