Chimera/Cyclops Mounting System for SmartCore Integration A versatile platform allows users to install a round probe measuring up to 18mm in addition to the existing Chimera/Cyclops hotend. Installation Requirements: * Print the mounting assembly with at least 50% infill using a suitable slicing software such as Cura. * Utilize "touching bed" support and reverse-print your object, placing it upside down for efficient printing. * Once printed, remove the original hot end mount from your head pieces and attach the new Chimera/Cyclops Mount in its place, positioning the rails facing outwards and aligning them near the X-axis rails. Assembly Instructions: 1. Using an M3 tap, drill holes into the right brace of the hotend mount, located within the two central mounting points. 2. Next, screw in two M3x10 bolts through the grooves to attach the sensor bracket firmly in place. 3. Position and tighten a pair of 3.0mm nuts using a 10mm long M3 bolt into each upper vertical hole. 4. Use the lower hole on the right hand side brace for an additional fastening point with a shorter M3x5 bolt. System Assembly: * Carefully place and screw the SmartCore round probe and Chimera/Cyclops together within their allocated spaces using standard 10mm long screws along with flat washer pads. * Secure your sensor with precision, followed by a thorough calibration for accuracy and functionality.
