Chimera blown
thingiverse
The modification is a breeze to set up. It simply replaces the original with ease. Thin walls (0.8mm) Added "ears" to conceal electrical wiring. Increased air gaps for improved airflow (the Sunon 40x20 fan was unable to reach its full potential). The blower has been shifted downwards, directing the air stream directly into the melting zone. The space where the heating blocks reside has also been reduced, so the blower must be printed with high-temperature plastics (ABS is a good option, but PLA or HIPS are not suitable). Holes for retaining screws have been removed (if needed, they can be drilled in place or new Chimera radiators with fan-accessible screws can be used). The modification is still under development.
