Chili Trophies

The company where I work is hosting its first annual Chili Cook-off, and I've been tasked with creating traveling trophies for several categories. The four-inch by four-inch base (101.6 mm x 101.6 mm) will be used for all the trophies. A chili pepper design was taken from gregorycerna's 2014 ICC Chili Cookoff Trophy on Thingiverse, while beefy arms were sourced from atartanian's Beefy Arm Starter Kit. Print Settings: Printer: Monoprice Maker Select Rafts: No rafts will be used. Supports: Supports will be enabled for a stronger structure. Resolution: The print resolution will be set to 0.3 mm for optimal results. Infill: The infill percentage will be 25% for adequate support. Notes: The chili stem may require supports for stability, so it's recommended to use them. However, I didn't need to use supports for Chili_Hottest, and the result was satisfactory. You'll definitely need supports for Chili_Creative, but Chili_Best can print without them. Post-Printing: Depending on your color choice, you may want to give the letters a quick paint job to ensure they stand out clearly. Design Process: I used Autodesk Inventor to create the bases and emboss the text on each one. Chili_Best was designed entirely within Inventor. The flames were drawn in AutoCAD and then converted into STL files using Inventor. For Chili_Hottest and Chili_Creative, I exported the bases from Inventor as STLs and combined everything using Meshmixer.
