A rare porcelain tea pot from a child's toy tea set has been discovered in the Caulkers' Houses of Fell's Point, Baltimore, Maryland. This tiny treasure likely originated in the late 19th-century. In England and China, miniature china dinnerware sets were crafted during the late 17th and 18th centuries to adorn the intricate rooms and cabinets that adults cherished. As the 19th century dawned, these small sets transitioned from being a luxury item for grown-ups to a delightful plaything for children.
