Children's House
thingiverse
Children's House is a unique log cabin that can be assembled without nails, screws or bolts, utilizing modern technology for a contemporary design. The structure comprises approximately 7,000 pieces, creating an intricate 3D jigsaw puzzle-like appearance. It features eleven bedrooms, eleven bathrooms, a large room with thirty single beds for children, a spacious kitchen, and a sizable social area. A video walkthrough of the house is available on YouTube, along with two other videos showcasing its features. The CAD files can be downloaded and viewed using the free AutoDesk CAD viewer, allowing users to explore the house from different angles, walk or fly through it, and even hide layers for better understanding of the board connections. Detailed CAD drawings are also provided, outlining the required cuts for each board in a specific order. Despite its complexity, the house is self-straightening but not self-leveling. The entire structure can be disassembled and reassembled without tools, though sub-systems like plumbing may require additional work.
