At the 2016 Georgia TSA Conference, I competed in CAD 3D Engineering, tasked to create a flashlight for children overcoming their fear of darkness. To stand out, I designed an innovative lantern-style model, featuring rubber guards, battery pack, diffusing lens, adjustable light control, 3-position switch, and a 3.5mm charging jack. My unique design secured me the 2nd place in the state within 4 hours. The potentiometer concept was inspired by GrabCAD member Peter Mulkers.
