My three-year-old daughter is rapidly gaining independence, but her small stature makes it challenging for her to reach light switches. This forces us to constantly assist her in turning on the lights so she can play in her playroom, use the bathroom, or turn off her light before bedtime. Determined to give her more autonomy, I decided to leverage 3D printing technology to enhance her independence. The Easy Reach Light switch allows me to artificially lower the switch by 6-8 inches, making it easier for small children like my daughter to reach and operate the switch themselves. The assembly process is remarkably straightforward, requiring only the existing switch plate cover screws (utilizing standard 2-3/8 inch vertical screw spacing).
