Child safety lock

Child safety lock

I crafted a safeguard to shield my 1-year-old daughter from accessing hazardous items stored at kitchen level. The device was created using white ABS plastic, though PLA would also be suitable for printing. However, PETG is not the best option due to its lower adhesive properties when paired with 3M tape. After completing the print and polishing process, I salvaged a belt from an old safety lock purchased on AliExpress (my child consistently manages to disable these locks). The two parts were then skillfully joined together. I'm hopeful that this lock will prove beneficial to someone in need.
