NO HARDWARE OR TOOLS NEEDED UNIVERSAL Print x2 for a full cover Fits knobs up to 2 1/2 inches in front diameter. Fits up 2 inches of knob depth (front to back measurement.) Has a 1 1/4 inch hole in back for small and large knob roses and shank. (Knob rose: is the "decorative" plate that goes against the door behind knob) (Knob Shank: is the back of the knob horizontal pole that leads into rose plate) 1 inch key hole 1 inch finger hole for large and small hands Purchasing online covers costs you more than half a spool of filament just for 4. Also safety covers tend to be very difficult to remove if you'll be having guests over for holidays etc. Wife has had a fair share of broken nails as well. If the tabs do break cover is nearly useless as a determined child messing with it, its bound to come off.. Not mine! I made this design to combat all the above. Made to be combined with zip-ties making this an easy no hardware needed design the wife and frail mother-in-laws can do. Pros: 1/8 thick hard pla+. can use pla for indoors, out of direct sunlight. -If a tab breaks has 3 other tabs that that will keep the safety cover secure. (recommend replacement on a second break on same unit) -Easy printable replacement. -Easy to install needs zip-ties and knife, blade or even nail clipper to cut zip-tie excess off -Fits a wide variety of circular door knobs. Oval, circle wtc -easy turn for large and small hand with full 1 inch side openings. -1 inch key hole opening. -Cost effective can print for all in-laws and your doors vs buying online -No x4 nut and bolts that cost 40 cents a piece needed -Beveled edges -ITS FREE Cons: -Not the best it in aesthetics if you're that person PS This is a very rogued and strong design, but I am not liable for anything. Especially if your kid beats the living heck out of it or takes a chainsaw to it. Make sure YOUR print is up to par to YOUR liking, please keep the kiddos safe.
