These are straightforward spring-loaded drawer locks designed to keep cats, apes, and small children out of your storage space. It's a no-brainer solution that doesn't require any drilling or adhesives. The 140mm model is shown here. To take off or put the lock on, just squeeze the prong ends together and remove or place the square latch piece as demonstrated in the photo. The prongs can remain hanging from the drawer when unlocked.
