Child's Puzzle One
thingiverse
Rearrange six triangular tiles, each with half owl and guitar, into a hexagon showcasing six complete images within. A solution with two guitars and four owls is provided. Reportedly, there are 122 different solutions to this challenge. The half figures originate from MaakMijnldee's cookie cutter collection (thing:35495), while the numerals stem from ArchitectsDaughter font by polymaker (More Fontz thing:13677). These images have been converted into openSCAD polygon commands. The OpenSCAD code is included. Printing tiles directly on the build platform is recommended. Exercises include finding a solution with six complete owls, one with three guitars and three owls, or two solutions where the 6 unmatched numerals at the outer edges of the hexagon sum to 30 (the given example sums to 17).
