Child's Puzzle Four

Child's Puzzle Four

thingiverse

Solve another nine-piece square puzzle featuring 63 leaping dolphins along a Hilbert curve. The dolphin pattern comes from MaakMijnldee's cookie cutter collection (thing:35459) and was constructed using the Hilbert Curve Coasters program (thing:65572). The completed square is provided, but divided into nine pieces via an openSCAD program, also included. For printing convenience, tiles are best printed directly on the build platform. OpenSCAD outputs a file with all nine tiles ready for print. Separate tiles were created due to build platform size limitations. The puzzle's Hilbert curve symmetry adds a unique challenge - no cuts bisect dolphins; only noses, tails, and fins are affected. Start by locating the central tile. A PDF key is included.
