Child Proof Cabinet Lock

Child Proof Cabinet Lock

thingiverse

This is a straightforward cabinet lock for kids. Although not foolproof, it serves as an effective deterrent. Follow these instructions: Print this design at 20% infill and with a .3 layer height if desired. However, to achieve maximum strength, print the part solidly and set the layer height to .1 mm. Once printed, insert a nail into the holes to secure it in place. If the holes prove too small, use a lighter to heat up the nail before pushing it through to enlarge them. One nail should be inserted snugly on the left while the right nail is loose enough to be removed. The recommended length of the nails is 4 inches or 108 mm when scaled.
