Child Lock Magnetic Key

This is a magnetic key designed specifically for child locks, made up of a single piece that accommodates two ceramic disc magnets. Each magnet measures 1 inch in diameter and 0.156 inches thick. I opted for Magnet Source brand magnets from Home Depot. Before assembling the lock, it's crucial to verify the polarity of your locks and mark the orientation of the magnets accurately. This step is essential to ensure a smooth insertion process into your 3D print. To simplify this process, I paused my print at the optimal layer and carefully inserted the magnets, eliminating the need for a separate piece. For printing, I utilized an Ultimaker S5 with Cura software. However, due to the presence of the magnet void, I needed to employ the "support blocker" feature in Cura to maintain its clarity throughout the print process.
