Child lock for cupboards and drawers
thingiverse
A straightforward child lock for securing cupboards and drawers. The child lock consists of two clasps. One (the one with the flange) is fastened perpendicularly to the drawer face or cabinet door. This clasp is designed for the left side when viewed from the front. The counterpart is attached parallel to the left wall of the cabinet. To ensure proper attachment, make sure that: - both clasps are at the same height (adjustable through slotted holes) - the parallel-mounted clasp is offset inward so the drawer or cabinet door can still close When the door or drawer is closed, the two clasps hook together automatically. When opening, the front of the two clasps must be pressed down slightly. Simple yet effective.
