Child Friendly Hot Wheels Track Connector

My 3-year-old has become absolutely smitten with Hot Wheels Track Videos, so I've been on the hunt for affordable tracks at Thrift Stores. Luckily, I managed to snag some track pieces, but unfortunately, no connectors were in sight. I discovered a great track connector design on Thingiverse that caught my eye, but it was unfortunately too thin for my liking. My 3-year-old has a tendency to pick up the track and, as you can imagine, the connectors would snap under their little hands. To solve this problem, I decided to remix the original design to make it thicker than ever before. I also shortened it slightly so that I could print it on my trusty Makerbot Mini without any issues. While the connection may not be as flexible as it used to be, the new connectors are now much stronger and perfect for withstanding my kid's enthusiastic playtime!
