Child door lock - very basic
thingiverse
This is an elementary Child door lock designed to safeguard doors from unauthorized access. I would assert that it functions effectively until the child reaches the age of two years old; after that, they will likely know how to remove the screws. For our purposes, it has been working satisfactorily so far. The lock was printed in PETG, making it extremely durable and resistant. Naturally, there is room for improvement - I believe one modification would be to integrate a lock mechanism where you simply press the lock button, which would be more convenient in a kitchen setting. This is especially true when frequent door openings are required. However, this design was finalized, printed, and no further modifications or additions can be made at this time. Perhaps future revisions will address these concerns.
