"Pina" is a pioneering endeavor aimed at crafting an exclusive collection of ornamental jewelry fashioned from 10 intricately detailed gilded bronze pineapples. Employing Rhinoceros 3D software, I meticulously crafted digital models of the pineapple, which were subsequently printed in three dimensions to serve as molds. The process culminated with the melting of metal into each mold, yielding a unique piece of jewelry. My primary objective for embarking on this project was to witness firsthand the end result and appreciate the level of craftsmanship that went into its decoration. By virtue of its design, "Pina" presented an ideal opportunity for me to forge connections with suppliers, while also gaining hands-on experience in working with various materials – specifically plastic for 3D printing and bronze.
