The 2016 FRC team 3480 Automat's shooting mechanism was designed to propel the foam balls effectively into the targets. It consisted of a pneumatically-powered ball indexer that loaded the balls and a flywheel-based shooter which launched them at high speeds. This system allowed for quick and accurate shots, contributing to the team's success in various matches.
