The Mother Church, San Lorenzo, stands proudly in the historic heart of the village and is its largest building. Its Romanesque-Pugliese or Dalmatian-Venetian-style facade boasts a massive central rosette made up of twelve columns that rest on a richly carved cornice at the periphery, and at its center, within a small concentric circle composed of over eight slender columns.
