This chicken waterer uses a 2-liter soda bottle, drawing inspiration from a smaller commercially available version we've been using. The stand features a disk that improves retention during construction; simply cut out the five tabs and remove the disk. To assemble the base, position the threaded rod vertically; I successfully built both units without additional support.
