Chicken coop electric fence
thingiverse
I just completed a DIY chicken coop in my yard and it has been attracting visitors who are hungry for a snack. I designed these fence standoffs with an electric shock to perch atop my fence, effectively keeping raccoons and possums at bay. To build them, I repurposed leftover 0.03-inch welding wire (without a flux core) from a solar-powered electric fence that I purchased at Harbor Freight for pennies on the dollar. With this easy solution, I've put an end to unwanted dinner guests... You might need to multiply my model by twenty-five and a half percent in order to scale it from millimeters to inches.
