<p>Chickens not included!</p> <p>This is not original with me - just a print I made for someone from the file here :</p> <p><a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4614774">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4614774</a></p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>Print in PLA using the 3mf file provided; otherwise :</p> <ul> <li>0.2mm layer height</li> <li>0% </li> <li>perimeters = 3</li> <li>support on build plate only, contact Z = 0.2mm</li> </ul> <p>I used olive green PLA.</p> <p>Don't make the mistake I made initially of using variable layer height. I assume this would give a better quality print, but it created problems with the inverted parts of the print.</p> <p>This really needs to be printed with the "hoop" section flat to the build plate (see photo) so that the filament layers will be properly aligned; there is really no good alternative to re-orienting the part for printing. Fortunately the "keep it simple" (with supports) approach works well.</p>
