An adapter for the "Chicago 1/2" Hammer Drill (2009) to fit seamlessly into the "Dremel 220-01 Rotary Tool Work Station," also known as the Dremel Drill Press. This drill boasts a significantly larger chuck than its Dremel counterpart. A mere 1mm of clearance exists between the drill and work station. The drill head requires original holes extended through (a simple rubbery plastic process) to ensure precise and stable drilling. The screws used for this purpose are 4.25 mm in diameter, including threads, and measure 65 mm in length. Holes are designed with bi-directional access for adjusting and/or cleaning purposes. A 46 mm long 45-degree countersunk bolt was employed instead of the original hardware. To guarantee sturdiness and strength, a depth stop holder is essential. For attaching the bottom nut, a socket wrench with an outer diameter of no more than 9.5 mm is necessary. Due to these design requirements, this adapter necessitates printing with supports in place. The STL file may exhibit imperfections when loaded into your slicer; however, I only focused on achieving a satisfactory preview. Using Simplify3D, I've included the factory file for reference. Feel free to adjust settings according to your printer's specifications (I used the Flash Forge Creator Pro); primarily, this attachment was designed for its supports and split processes. For optimal strength, I recommend using ABS plastic with a medium-high-medium process split, prioritizing speed (fast 0.2 layers up to the holes, then 0.1 past the holes, and finally 0.2 to the top). A 45% infill density was chosen to minimize bending. The results have been satisfactory on my end; I hope it yields similar outcomes for you. This adapter is highly customized, but sharing knowledge is essential, so...
