Chicago Coin Relay Finger bracket support
thingiverse
I'm fixing my Score Reset Relay's fibre plate that moves the switch stack. Unfortunately, I don't have any spare parts on hand and making a replacement would be quite a hassle. Instead of ordering a new one, I'll glue the broken piece back together, but since it's fragile, I need to add some support brackets to prevent it from breaking again. I grabbed my vernier caliper and started working with Sketchup. After just three minutes, I designed a simple support bracket that would work perfectly for this task. With the design ready, I printed out the bracket using ABS plastic with an 88% fill density for added strength. To secure everything in place, I applied some superglue. Once I assembled the parts, they fit together snugly due to their precise friction fit. In just a matter of minutes, my pinball machine was back up and running as if nothing had happened.
