This is a Dremel Attachment for Cutting Chicago ACE/ACE II Tubular Keys. See the attached PDF for key specs for each cut. This attachment is designed specifically for Standard size keys with no offset (Standard spacing).\r\n\r\nThe tool features dial marks that rise or lowers the cutting bit about 0.01" per tick or (1/8) turn of the tool, allowing for precise control over the cutting process.\r\n\r\nInsert your cutting bit so it sticks 1/2" out of the chuck, ensuring optimal performance with the jig installed all the way in the Dremel. The tip of the chuck is 1.24" from the body, providing a comfortable working distance.\r\n\r\nSet the bit height by unscrewing the jig for your first cut, allowing for easy adjustments as needed.\r\n\r\nPlace the key into the key holder until it almost touches the cutting bit, positioning it perfectly for the next step.\r\n\r\nStart the Dremel at a slow speed, then slowly push the key all the way in to complete your cut, ensuring smooth and accurate results.\r\n\r\nRepeat this process for all cuts required, taking care not to press too hard on the key as you push it into the spinning bit.\r\n\r\nTo fine-tune the diameter of the cut or adjust the distance from the center of the key, simply place the key outside the holder and manually push it into the spinning bit, keeping the bit at the correct height.\r\n\r\nImportant: Be sure to use the proper bit for the material you are cutting. The bit I used with my Dremel had no issue cutting the brass key I had, making it a reliable choice for this application.\r\n\r\nWith this attachment, you can enjoy creating duplicate keys with ease and precision.
