Chibi Robo (articulated model)
thingiverse
This is a model of Chibi Robo from the 2005 video game of the same name. I created it as a birthday present for my friend who likes Chibi Robo and wanted a poseable toy of it, but unfortunately, there are none. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Notes: What is included in the file are the appendages of the robot. The joints are Revoltech 6mm joints, and they have to be purchased separately. I recommend using the website http://castingcave.ecrater.com/ to find these. The model also features a hole on the back for the use of a stand, so that Chibi Robo can be posed in different ways that don't have to support his larger head. The stand works best with the Bandai Hobby Action Base 2 Display Stand (1/144 Scale) which can be found on Amazon. For the eyes I would recommend using black clay to fill the eye hole, and also shape the eye correctly. Finally, the chord can be snipped off of any cheap alarm clock you can find at goodwill. How I Designed This I designed this model using Autodesk Inventor.
