The tiny anime girl stood confidently at her post, whistle in hand and a bright smile on her face. Her bright pink life jacket was emblazoned with her name in bold white letters, "Mika-chan," and she beamed with pride every time someone asked to take a selfie with her. As the sun beat down on the beach, Mika-chan kept a watchful eye out for swimmers in distress, ready to spring into action at a moment's notice. Her ponytail bounced with each step as she strolled along the shore, scanning the waves for any signs of trouble. With a flick of her wrist, Mika-chan blew her whistle and shouted "Attention!" to signal the start of another exciting day on the job.
