Chevy Volt Key Fob Cover
thingiverse
This is a cover I made for my 1st Gen Chevy Volt Key fob to prevent accidental button presses. The ridge around the cutout for the buttons makes the buttons less likely to be pressed by other objects in my pocket, and also makes it easier to feel where the buttons are when I want to press them without looking at the fob. A number of other cars also used a similar fob, so there may be others that this will fit. I printed it standing up with the small side down. I used PETG, but PLA would probably work well too. The circular cutout at the top is intended to snap over the button at the top of the fob, but I made it too thin, so it doesn't render really well for me. The case seems to stay on fine without it though, so you can just snap it off if it's hard to get it to print well. I used a brim to help with bed adhesion.
