Chevy Volt (2nd Gen) Center Console RAM Mount Bracket

This is a center console 1" ball RAM style mount designed to fit snugly in a 2nd Gen Chevy Volt. I was dissatisfied with all commercially available mounting options out there, so I came up with this custom solution that perfectly meets my needs. As it happens, I don't have any experience with 3D modeling, and the STL file you see here is actually a combination of two separate STL files that I hacked together using PrusaSlicer. I encourage anyone who can improve upon this design to do so. There are cut-outs for an M3x12 screw and M3 hex nut, but you can use any screw and nut that fit through the hole. Printing Recommendations: -I recommend printing in ABS or PET due to the potentially high-temperature requirements during the summer in your vehicle. -Consider increasing the infill percentage to reinforce the ball and attachment point, especially if you plan on adding a significant amount of weight or other stress to the ball. I successfully printed this design with PETG, using a brim, and supports that touched the build plate. Supports are definitely needed under the ball.
