Chevy SS aka Holden Commodore Phone Mount Point
prusaprinters
I helped Proclips testing out a prototype mount some time ago for my Chevy SS and while it mostly worked I was never super happy with it. From Proclips it never had a solid mounting feel to it and their solution involved double sided tape. With my trusty calipers, angle gauge and sporadic evenings in Fusion 360 I came up with this design that firmly mounts in my car with no tape or anything else for that matter. This was designed by me to directly work with my phone mount system here https://www.printables.com/model/276204-samsung-z-fold-3-dual-mount. This may work with other vehicles so feel free to try and let me know. This should be printed in a high temp filament like ABS as seen here to avoid warping or all out melting in the hot sun. to install slide the bottom under the passenger side trim closer to the seat. Align the the top edge inside the groove between the sail trim and front cubby and begin sliding the whole assembly forward till it's as snug as you like. If you go to far likely it will only pop out of the top groove but depending on the material used you could break the fine edge off on the adapter.
