Chevy LS3 Receiverbox - Larger Interior
thingiverse
I scaled down the receiver hole because it seemed too tiny to me, and the model had plenty of room for expansion. I took the design into Tinkercad and enlarged it a bit. I also upgraded my Dremel to the original model, which worked out well, offering a more refined solution. However, making it larger resulted in lost mounting holes for the transmission housing, so I relocated them to the oil pan instead. Additionally, I created another model for the blocks where I removed the second mounting hole from the Wraith and added one closer to the front of the engine to explore different mounting options. This is still a prototype, but hopefully it will work out - this is only my second or third attempt at modifying a design like this, so I'll update you once I've printed it.
