Chevy LS3 Receiverbox 1:10 for RC Trucks
thingiverse
After almost three years have passed since the release of the Small Block Chevy receiver box, it's time again. Let me introduce you to the Chevy LS3 receiver box. The construction of this model is very similar to that of the SBC receiver box. Inside the engine block, there's room for a receiver suitable for your RC truck or crawler. The brackets on the front of the engine block are designed for installation in the axial Wraith. However, the LS3 is slightly larger and therefore collides with the chassis of the Wraith. You'll need to customize the chassis at those problematic areas so that the engine fits well into the Wraith. All parts have been optimized for printing on a good 3D printer using a 0.4mm nozzle. For larger parts, you can use a layer thickness of 0.15mm, while smaller parts typically require a 0.1mm layer thickness. The components are delivered in their designed position. If you load all the parts into a CAD program, you'll be able to determine the exact position of each component. This model is also suitable for rendering. If you want to build a version that can be slipped over a 540-style electric motor, check out this link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2866851. Of course, I will continue to make upgrades for the LS3 receiver box in the future, which you'll then be able to purchase on my website at a low cost. The last two images show some options for the LS3. They're now available under this link: https://www.printable-3d-models.com/de/3D-druckvorlagen/3D-druckbares-RC-Zubehoer/Upgrades-fuer-die-LS3-Receiverbox-16/.
