Chevy Cruze armrest stopper/release
thingiverse
This simple little piece of plastic solves two problems that most Cruze owners will likely encounter. First, it keeps the armrest from sliding back over time when you rest your arm on it. Second, if it's kept forward, you can easily unlatch it to open the lid. I saw someone on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1-Y-eG689o) fix this issue with a small piece of wood. I didn't have any wood, but I do have Fusion 360, a 3D printer, and some filament. This plastic piece fits between the latch release mechanism and the latch release lever. It's a bit tricky to get it in place, but once it's in, it stays put. My solution was to pull the armrest out farther than it's supposed to be, then force it into position. I started with one end of the plastic piece at the front, where you push the button to release the latch first, and that made it easier to get it in place. If you're having trouble getting it in, you can model a modified version using the dimensions: 77mm x 25.4mm x 4mm.
