The original Dust Cap by Jabrego was precisely the upgrade I needed to replace my stock covers that were too shallow for my replacement LED headlights. The only drawback I encountered was that the covers were too deep to fit snugly into the space for the passenger side light and were very tight for the driver side. To resolve this issue, I took precise measurements of the brand lights I used and discovered I could shave off almost 2 centimeters; however, this may vary depending on the manufacturer and size of the cooling fan housing. Temperature: 230 Bed Temp: 80 Infill: 100% Material: PETG Supports: 17% were generated using Simplify 3D, but they broke off easily, while overhangs printed perfectly. Yes, I'm aware that I printed it white for the engine compartment. This was my first PETG print project and it was the only material I had available at the time; in the future, I plan to use black. In my previous attempts with ABS, I encountered issues with splitting of the cooling fins on the cap, as I don't have an enclosure; however, PETG proved to be a perfect choice, producing strong prints with no splitting or other problems whatsoever. The result is rock-solid and completely reliable.
