Chevy Chase Christmas Vacation Advent House

This model replicates the Advent House from Chevy Chase's film Christmas Vacation. It was used sparingly throughout the movie, notably to signal the passage of time by opening windows. I'm sharing it now to give people a chance to build one for this year's holiday season. Since it's 3D printed, I've added more intricate details to the window frames and other elements compared to the original prop. 11/10/19 I've updated the PDF files with dimensions for the roof components. The skylight, windows, front door, and roof trim are 3D printed. The main structure is made from fiberboard, paired with a base crafted from 3/4 inch pine. This will require some woodworking tools to assemble. Instructions for building the Advent House can be found in the Build Notes and PDF files.zip file. Enjoy the project.
