Prior to 1992, both Chevrolet and GMC offered two different-sized SUVs under their Blazer/Jimmy model names. However, when GMC rebadged the full-size Jimmy as the Yukon, Chevrolet waited until 1994's introduction of a four-door version to rename the mid-size S-10 Blazer as the Blazer, redesignating the full-size Blazer as the Tahoe.
