LOS ANGELES - Chevrolet unveils the 2007 Chevy Suburban, a next-generation full-size SUV that sets a new standard for capability in the industry. This all-new vehicle can haul more passengers and cargo than any other model in its segment, while boasting a comprehensive safety system featuring occupant protection and crash-avoidance technology that showcases GM's dedication to world-class safety. The '07 Suburban is built on GM's latest full-size SUV architecture, which boasts sleek exterior styling, a sharper driving feel, increased power, and improved fuel economy. It also offers enhanced interior refinement and reduced noise levels. With its 130-inch wheelbase, the vehicle provides ample space for passengers and cargo while ensuring a smooth ride. "The Suburban is the industry benchmark when it comes to capability," says Ed Peper, Chevrolet general manager. "The 2007 model solidifies this reputation established in 1935 with the introduction of the first Suburban." By combining cargo, passenger, and towing capabilities with safety and efficiency, the Suburban continues to meet consumer needs.
