Chevrolet Blazer K5 - RC model with WPL axles
cults3d
I modified this model from a GTA SA mod in ZModeler and adapted it for printing in Sketchup. It's based on the WPL model's transmission and has a 1:14 scale. Since I have a small printer, I split the body into sections to reduce support material and printing time. The body parts are printed from ABS plastic and glued together with ABS juice. The frame was also printed from ABS, but it wasn't strong enough. I recommend trying PLA instead. The gearbox's mount needs some work, so you can fix it with hot glue or nylon ties. You'll need to get the WPL axles (front and rear), wheels (or resin versions), central gearbox with motor separately. You can either detach them from an existing model or order them from Banggood, Gearbest, or Aliexpress. They're cheap but not very durable. In addition to that, you'll need a 2S battery, RC receiver, ESC, SG-90 servo, and light controller with LEDs (optional). I'm going to continue this project in the next part.
