This is a wall anchor design that fits snugly into expanded polystyrene foam insulation on the outside of a wall. It allows you to mount objects directly onto your wall, but keep in mind that it's only suitable for light loads. The design takes into account a 3.5mm screw and a 4.5mm screw, making it adaptable to various screw sizes. I needed this type of anchor for my downspout installation as well as for a spot lighting fixture. To ensure a smooth insertion process, I recommend creating a pre-drilled hole in the plaster before inserting the anchor and securing it with screws. In most cases, the anchor will fit snugly into place without any issues.
