Chessotron - Chess Set and Action Figure
thingiverse
Saw a meme about a figure made from chess pieces and got the desire to print it. I downloaded a chess set and made holes and inserts to turn it into a full articulated figure that you can assmeble or disassemble! Tried to keep it as support-less as possible. Printed on a Prusa MK3s and Prusa MK2s. Pieces to print: 1 king (supports only on cross) 1 queen (no supports) 2 rook (no supports) 2 bishop (no supports) 2 knight (supports on mouth and chin) 7 pawn (no supports) 1 pawn_holes (no supports, higher infill) 6 ball_join_male (no supports, higher infill) 2 ball_join_male_long (no supports, higher infill) 1 waist_hor (no supports, higher infill) 1 waist_ver (no supports, higher infill) The two long ball joints are for the knights. Attach all joints with superglue. When I printed it some pieces came out loose and some tight. You can switch the pawns around to make it tight where you need it. Print a set in black and another in white and you are all done and ready to play chess or figure fights!
