The set includes chess pieces and a playing field, all carefully designed for compactness by nesting parts inside one another. This clever design is reminiscent of the iconic Russian nesting dolls. I've added holes featuring recognizable images of chess pieces; if desired, you can glue in contrasting paper or film - either white or black will do. For the field, it's best to use a material without a "memory effect" - if it's thick, you may need to increase the diameter of both the box and lid. The round base allows for seamless printing, while the empty interior significantly reduces printing time. The playing field measures 20x20 cm in size, with the height of the box reaching 20 cm. This design draws inspiration from two previous projects: one based on the Lanier Graham chess set found at thingiverse.com/thing:3369638 and another based on the Josef Hartwig chess set located at thingiverse.com/thing:3484722.
