This board demands a luxurious finish in leather, my current prototype boasts an attractive leather appearance that transforms seamlessly into a compact book-like shape. Each checker square should resemble a solid block, while the exterior would closely mimic the rugged façade of a stone castle wall with cleverly integrated windows, bars, and imposing doors. My dream remains owning a 3D printer one day to craft such an intricately designed board, however I've successfully built a prototype using foam that boasts striking similarities to Staupton chess. It also offers an advantageous perspective on a medieval battle scene, making it a true work of art.
