These custom storage solutions provide a secure and convenient transportation system for my intricately designed 3D printed Dubrovnik-style chess set. All pawns fit neatly into one box, while the larger pieces are accommodated in two specially crafted boxes featuring offset floors. This design ensures that the tops of these large pieces remain level. A soft felt-lined lid is then pressed onto the pieces and secured in place using rubber-bands. As a result, the pieces are safely held in position and do not shift or rattle inside the case during transportation. The bases of each piece feature embossed symbols, which facilitate correct placement on the board. Additionally, parallel tabs on both lids and bases maintain alignment with the rubber-bands, ensuring that everything remains securely in place.
