I printed the chess pieces on 80% myself, as they are rather large.

Also, thinking about adapting the parts so that a metal nut could be glued into the base of the parts for added stability. ...

UPDATE 2018/10/21

As requested (by chris262), designed and added a new pawn with PILLUM. Thx m8!!

Currently also designed the set with the possibility to add weight at the bottom. More info on this later as I'm testing this atvm.

Print instructions

Category: Chess Summary

Chess Set, based on Roman Warriors

Found some on thingiverse but was not really what I looked for, .. so I tried to design some myself.
I specifically designed them so that supports are needed, but still the basic shape of the Roman War helmet was recognisable.
Thought about adding the pilum .. but that would become a very fine and fragile part.

Tips and advice will be much appreciated.

!!
