Update: Have added King-NEW.stl and Rook-NEW.stl files that shouldn't be suffering from the errors in the old files. Old kings and rooks in other original files in the list are not fixed. UPDATE: Some people are reporting problems with the king and rook. Read the comments and check your slicer's output before printing. How this thing happened: I couldn't find a support-less knight that I liked, so I modified the knight from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:34017 by adding built-in support for the jaw. The rest of the pieces are from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:46808 -- the rook and king from that set have been altered (with errors!) to remove the horizontal overhangs. .STL files provided: NEW files for the king and rook. Singles for all pieces (including OLD king and rook). 2-up for rooks (OLD), bishops and knights. 8-up for pawns. Complete set (with OLD king and rooks). Instructions I printed in PLA with .25mm layers, 20% fill, no raft, no support. The support under the knight's jaw can be sawn, whittled or ground away for a better appearance.
