This customized, traditionally-feeling chess set includes models designed for 3D printing. Updates include a thicker rook's crown and stronger king and queen arms, more distinct features, Makerware-friendly thing file format, and individual printable pieces. Additionally, there are versions for rectangular and square build platforms. In November 2014, the knight, king, and queen were tweaked to improve articulation and printability; a square layout was added for one-time printing of the whole set; and a knight/horse without support was provided as an option. Note that you'll need to create your own setup with individual pieces if you want the horse without built-in support.
