This is a basic chess board that fits snugly into a box designed for storing figures. Printed using two different types of filaments, the components are engineered to snap together seamlessly. A reliable M3 bolt secures the hinge in place. Initially conceived in FreeCAD, this design was optimized to print flawlessly on an Ender 3 printer. I successfully printed this chess set: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1094870 at a reduced scale of 75%, which fits perfectly within the confines of the board.
