This project was created with Tinkercad and can be edited online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/dW2mYGJU68U. The original model used in this project is the Cheshire Cat 2-piece, which can be found on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1527966). Please show your appreciation for reddadsteve's design by liking it. Thank you to reddadsteve for creating the original model. The lines of the original design made it easy to transform it into a bank. The head and body were joined together, and the size was increased to accommodate all coins at this scale. The bank includes a quick-fit plug, key, and key storage box, making it perfect for printing on an Ender2. A proof print was created using the x1 file size to test the design. Unfortunately, the head was not positioned at the ideal angle, resulting in some spaghetti-like issues during printing. No supports or skirt were used initially, but these features were added later to improve the print quality. The coin slot was relocated from the tail to the back of the model because it barely accommodated a dime. This change improved the functionality of the bank significantly. Update: 1. The V1R2 files now include a fix for paw adhesion and feature skirted paws, as well as small cut-away supports to address the spaghetti issues at the hairline. A small hole was also fixed in this area on 11-19-2018. 2. An optional Tea Light plug file has been added to enable the conversion of the model into a night lamp using a Samyo tea light (30mm dia x 25mm) from Amazon, as of 11-25-2018. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to share them. Thank you for taking the time to look at this project and I hope you enjoy it!
